collegata a una lunga manica a vento, variamente decorata. Tale insegna è stata utilizzata successivamente anche nell'esercito Bizantino.

Notes: The Draconarius was in the Roman Army a Signifer in charge to carry the "Draco", a cavalry standard made of a pole with a metal head secured representing a roaring beast (Dragon or wolf) and connected to a long windsock generally decorated with various themes. The Draco was used by the byzantine army as well.
