Note: questo superbo figurino ha diversi elementi di origine differente: il volto di etnia gallica ma anche l'elmo di tipo greco-attico, il gladio iberico e la corazza pettorale in bronzo dorato di origine sannitica oggi conservata nel museo di Tunisi.

Esso rappresenta ls grande eterogenicità dell'esercito di Annibale, che era costituito da un'armata multietnica, composta da popolazioni diverse con in comune il solo fine di sconfiggere Roma, ed in cui popoli e genti si mescolarono, indossando armi depredate al nemico assieme a quelle portate da casa.

Notes: This amazing figure represents with elements coming from different armies (the face of Gallic origin, the helmet of Greek-Attic type, the Iberian sword and the central italian breastplate in gilded bronze still preserved at the museum of Tunisi) the great variety on men in the Hannibal army. It was a multiethnic army, formed by people of different countries with the only common aim to defeat Rome. They mixed together wearing weapons both stolen to the enemies or carried from home.
